SDCC students come from 21 states and 13 foreign countries. The diverse student population enhances classroom and extracurricular interactions and helps each individual grow in their appreciation and understanding of cultural diversity.
A distinctively Christian college, SDCC seeks to develop servant leaders who will impact the world through their expertise and service as modeled in a life of faith and trust in Jesus Christ. SDCC promotes learning that encourages the entire community to think critically and to make decisions from a Biblical worldview. In the context of truth, purpose and impact faculty, students and graduates engage in intellectual, ethical, social, and cultural inquiry while partnering with others in scholarship, research, publication, and performance.
The inspiration for SDCC’s programs is the understanding of God’s design for the world and reverence for His creativity and excellence. Students are nurtured toward Christ-like character while being challenged to develop intellectual, technical and interpersonal skills that will help them serve as global impact leaders, mentors and professionals.
