Federal and College Work Study (FWS/CWS)

Work Study is an on-campus employment opportunity for students who demonstrate financial need and have minimal eligibility in other financial aid programs.  The inclusion of a Work Study offer on a student’s Financial Aid Award does not guarantee job placement (students must inquire about job opportunities with the Career Services Office). Work Study earnings are taxable and paid bi-monthly as the student works the required hours to earn his/her award, and paid directly to the student’s account. After applying earnings to a student’s account, students may receive a refund check if a credit balance is generated. Work Study funds are limited, so it is in the student's best interest to apply and complete the FAFSA early.
