San Diego Christian College gave me a very strong Biblical foundation that has been a great blessing in many areas of my life. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and then went on to National University (San Diego) to graduate in 1987 with a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology. In 1987 I began as a Marriage and Family Therapist with Minirth-Meier Clinics in Dallas, TX.

~Alumnus Scott Hensley received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1984.  He is currently Director of Career & Placement for a  public university in Southeastern Oklahoma.

I wanted to go into a field that incorporated both Psychology and Bible. The teachers here [at SDCC] can influence students one on one. If I had gone to a bigger college like some of my friends, I would be experiencing the same problems they have; of finding internships, and doing other things without input or help from their busy teachers. Now that I have my degree I can decide what to focus in, but I feel I have more options.
