Federal Grants 

Federal Grants are free money (not a loan to be re-paid) from the Federal government based upon your demonstrated financial need. 

Pell Grant 

Grants currently range from $555-$5550 annually for the Academic Year and are determined by Federal calculation resulting from information on your FAFSA.  

SEOG Grant 

To be eligible for the SEOG Grant, (Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant)a student must demonstrate exceptional financial need. SDCC uses a student's EFC, enrollment status, and remaining need as factors in determining eligibility and systematically makes awards (currently $500-$1500). These award amounts are subject to change annually, as the Institution is given limited funds.
