1. When should I apply to SDCC?

Applicants are encouraged to begin and complete the admissions process as soon as possible due to financial aid priority deadlines and space availability for on-campus housing.  Each applicant must complete all required steps for final admission prior to registration as a student.

Students are encouraged to apply in the fall semester of their senior year in high school or the year prior to transferring to SDCC.  First year students at SDCC can apply for an “Early Decision”.  The benefit of “Early Decision”  provides additional scholarship money of $1,000 to students who are accepted by January 1st.  The requirements to participate in the “Early Decision” process are receipt of all admission materials, including all official transcripts and test scores.
