Abel and Kara (Green) Bertussi - Abel and Kara moved to Visalia, CA., in July 2006. Abel is teaching 4th grade and Kara stays at home with their two children. Garryn is 5, and daughter Drew is 2. They are currently in the process of adopting two more children and would love to hear from anyone!! (Winter '07)

Leslie Clifton writes, "I am currently the Leadership and Development Coordinator for Coastal Academy, a K-8 Personalized Learning Public Charter School. The posiiton is similar to an Assistant Principal and ASB Director in one. On the weekends I help my brother as assistant coach for Youth League Tennis."  (Fall '07)

Regan Bliss graduated in 1999 with a History degree and a minor in Bible. He has been working for the last 8 years with  the Forest Home Christian Conference Center. He is the evening supervisor and within the last 8 months working with the night shift in the Housekeeping Department.  Regan also volunteers in the media ministry at First Baptist Church of Yucaipa, and volunteers in the Junior High Ministry.  He works three days a week for First Baptist Church of Yucaipa as a custodian.  (Summer '07)

Ruth Anne (Welch) Cook went on to receive her MA in Counseling from Chapman University (Tucson), and is working on a second MS in Natural and Applied Sciences with an emphasis on Gerontology through Oklahoma State University (online program).  Ruth Anne writes, "I am retired, but am interested in working in the geriatric field. I have three grand-daughters that live near-by and keep me busy. Also, I am active in my church and am looking forward to doing more for the Lord. " (Spring '06)

Michelle (Robinson) Craft -Michelle and Daniel were married in 2002 and 6 months later moved to DC where Michelle took a job working for the federal government. In 2005 Michelle and Daniel moved back to San Diego.  Michelle continues to travel worldwide. (Spring '06)

Sally Knotwell married John Knotwell and completed 30 years in the Navy in January 2003. They moved to Southwest Missouri to build their dream home.  Ten acres, a barn, woods, two cows, two dogs, and one cat later, they are still there but looking at the possibility of moving to Salt Lake City to be near their son, his wife, and 3 grandchildren. No date for moving in site yet. (Fall '07)

Kris Johanson (Photo) write, "My wife Jessie and I have recently returned from a missionary position with the Foursquare Church in Papua New Guinea. We returned home to birth our first child, Noah Magi Johanson, last March. I am currently working as a mechanical engineer for a heating/air conditioning company in Seattle. We love being parents." (Fall '07)

Pedro Olvera graduated with his Doctor of Psychology in Educational Psychology in 2007.  As Program Director for the School Psychology Program at Azusa Pacific University (APU), Pedro coordinated the program's effort to become nationally accredited by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). APU is the only School Psychology Program within a Christian university on the west coast to achieve national accreditation.  (Winter '10) 

Stephanie Reary writes, “I graduated in 1999 from Christian Heritage College and received my secondary teaching credential in 2003. I am currently serving as a Junior High English teacher in Mesa, Arizona.” (Winter '05)

Jody (Smithers) Seiler got married to Brian Seiler on July 22, 2006. They are residing in the La Jolla area of San Diego. Jody is currently in her 7th year of teaching 3rd grade at Horizon Elementary School in San Diego. (Winter '07)

Dr. Julie (Taylor) Ducharme writes,  "I just recently finished my Doctorate in Business Administration and had my first child, Abigail Marie Ducharme. I just published my third book, my first Kids book, called 'Amy The clumsey Angel'. I currenlty am a full time college professor along with starting and owning two succesful companies, Julie's Party People, which is a kids entertainment business that has been going for 7 years. I Also own and am CEO of JD Consulting, a consulting company that works with business on many different topics from small business to big million dollars businesses. This has been going for about 4 years. I am coming up on my 7th year being married and absolutly loving life, with my husband and baby girl who just turned 1 a couple months ago, and all the many fun adventures life brings us."  (Winter '10)

 Frank Wilbourn writes, "Currently, I am in my 27th year with Cox Communications San Diego. I continue in a management position in Network Operations. Educationally, I will complete my Masters in Leadership and Organizational Studies at Azusa Pacific University December,2008. I would not trade my time at SDCC for anything. Obtaining my BS in Business Management while learning in a Christian environment was priceless." (Winter '08) - Update: "I went on to receive my Masters degree in Leadership and Organizational Studies from Azusa Pacific University. I am in my 30th year with Cox Communications and have returned to San Diego Christian College as an Adjunct Professor in the APS program. God used SDCC to open doors that no man could close." (Spring '10)

Michael Baldwin moved to South Carolina in February of 2007.  He is currently working in the Department of Ophthalmology, Medical University of South Carolina as the International Programs Coordinator and Fellowship Programs Coordinator.  (Spring '08)

J.D. Bennett writes, "I've been working as a church planting missionary in Spain with my sister and brother-in-law, Lisa & Dan Leatherwood, who are also Christian Heritage Alum, since 2005. My first book "The Walls of Spain: Diary of a Short-term Mission", about my first summer working with the Leatherwoods in Navarra, Spain, is coming out this month with JHouse Publishing of Huntington Beach, CA.  (Fall '09)

Russel and Tenaya (Forte '99) Divine - Russel is currently flying for SkyWest airlines in Colorado Springs. Tenaya has hung up the headsets for now to stay home with little Josephine Marie. Jo was born on March 24th 2006, In Fresno, Ca.  (Summer '06)

Serena (Dice) Logue - After graduating, Serena got married in 2001. Her, and her husband, have owned and operated several businesses. They have 2 children; Charlie, 3yrs old, and Max, 2 yrs old. They currently reside in Colorado Springs (Wnter '07)

Milo Fowler writes, "I am in my ninth year of teaching at Maranatha Christian School.  This year I have four Jr. High English classes and one math, as well as guitar lessons after school to keep me busy.  I'm also in the middle of writing three novels and am seeking an agent for potential publication.  This July I'll be marrying Sara, the love of my life, and we could not be happier.  (Spring '08)

Elizabeth (Koepcke) Kropf - Elizabeth (Koepcke) married Ben Kropf in 2000. They live outside Austin, Tx. Elizabeth earned a M.A. in Creative Writing from Perelandra College. She has had several publications and teachs Composition and Research at Bryant & Stratton online. (Fall '08)

Vince and Tami Marotte spent a couple years in Kauai, Hawaii doing youth ministry before heading back to the mainland to plant churches. They are almost two years into their ministry at Impact Church in Temecula California. You can stay up to date on ministry, the kids, and other random musings at Vince's Blog. (Winter '08)

Bethany Myers writes, "I graduated from SDCC in 2000 with a B.A. in Music.  I am now in my 6th year of teaching music at Chula Vista Hills Elementary. I also teach 20 private music students, and am a worship leader at Canyon Community Church.  Volunteering with the high-school youth ministry also keeps me busy! I enjoy being close to family and being a doting aunt to my nephew, Donny, who is the son of my sister, Kirsten and her husband, Jim." (Winter '08)

Amy (Phillips) Ricabal -  After graduating from CHC Amy went on to complete her masters degree at Azusa Pacific University where she met her husband. After teaching for 5 years Amy is taking some time off to be a mom to her 4 month old son, Levi. (Winter '07)

Andrew Siefers writes, "I am thankful for opportunities to change career with the pursuit of a Masters in Counseling received May of 2010 from Dallas Baptist University. Am currently pursuing licensing in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and will be obtaining hours for full licensing with the Meier Clinic in Richardson, TX, an established and well known Christian mental health provider. Married for 2 years as of June 28, 2010 to my lovely and supportive wife Amy, and looking forward to seeking how God would have us add to our family. Georganna (Stimpson) Ketchum - Georganna and her husband Rick moved to Colorado in 2005.  She continued her education to earn a Masters in Nonprofit Management.  Their daughter is currently a student at SDCC and will graduate in 2009. (Fall '07)
