Marti (Carlson) Linehart  writes, "I did not graduate from CHC, but have fond memories of my attendance there. I married Bob Linhart in 1980 and have 2 children; Cody, 17, and Ariel, 14. We moved to Boardman, Ohio in 2009, near Youngstown (where my husband is from). We attend Evangel Baptist Church. I am a former preschool teacher, now babysitter. God bless!"

Scott Hensley is currently beginning his 4th year as Director of Career & Placement for a public university in Southeastern Oklahoma. (Spring '06)

Todd Lennon ('83-'84) writes, "I am a social worker serving on active duty with the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps assigned to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response in Washington, DC. Winona and I were married in 1991. Our first daughter was born in 1998 and we anticipate traveling to China in early 2008 to bring home our second daughter. We attend Derwood Bible Church in Rockville, MD where we met. We serve there as Awana commanders and serve on our regional Awana Ministry Team." (Fall '07)

Staycee (Meeks) Barnett - Staycee is currently teaching American Sign Language at Berean Christian High School in Walnut Creek, CA. She has a son Eli Josiah Meeks Barnett who is 14 years old and a Freshman at Berean. They attend Fair Oaks Church in Concord CA. (Fall '08)

Greg Pepe works at Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs, CO, in Human Resources. He also does life/personal coaching and has been there since 1992. (Winter '07)

Tammi (StensvadSchmorleitz writes, "Steve & I have been married almost 23 years. We have 3 great kids Tyler 18, Tiffany 16, and Trina 13. We live in Citrus Heights, CA which is a suburb of Sacramento. Steve sells life insurance and mortgages and as a hobby has a national park website, www.nationalparklover.com. Tammi has a home-based sewing business, mostly sewing for several athletic stores and interior decorators. She also does occasional work in downtown Sacramento for a Palm Springs law office. We are very active in many different ministries in our church, Sunrise Community Church. Life is full and God has blessed us in so many ways!"  (Fall '07) 

Sherri (Schmorleitz) McKissick writes, "I greatly appreciate the training I had at Christian Heritage(San Deigo Christian)in the field of elementary education. I taught 1 year at a Christian school and just over 3 years in a public school. I married my husband, Bruce in 1989. I stopped teaching in the public school to stay home with our son in the fall of 1990. We thank God for our 3 precious children: Joshus(17), Jennifer(15) and Christy(11). We have lived on Bruce's family farm in southwestern Kansas since the summer of 1994. We raise wheat and Milo, as well as take care of cattle. I enjoy leading a Bible Club at our church(The Minneola Reformed Presbyterian Church) each Wednesday after school. I also do a little substitute teaching. My greatest joy is teaching my children and other children the ways of the Lord!" (Summer '08)

Michele (Allgier) Richert writes, "Kirk and I live in Folsom CA. Kirk is a CPA for Verizon Wireless and I am a stay at home mom. We have 4 children. Nathan, who went to be with the Lord at 8 years in 1996, Kirstin, 19, is getting married in Jan. 09, Aubrey, 17, a senior in highschool, and Titus, 16, a junior. We are active in our church where Kirk serves as treasurer. We are also looking to what God has for us in the future as we anticipate having an empty nest.

Karlyn (Earl) Knutson ('85-'87) writes, "Dave and I live in Fresno, CA with our 2 children, Haley (10) and Jacob (6). Dave works for a mortgage company and teaches the teens at our church."  (Summer '07)

Timothy & Virgie (Coolidge) Farley writes, "We are serving as missionaries with ABWE in Northern Peru. Our son Jason is currently enrolled at SDCC and our daughter Hannah is with us being home schooled."   (Fall '07)

Roy Hinderer - Roy is currently a science/history teacher at Cascade Christian Jr./Sr. High in Puyallup, WA. His two oldest daughters are married, and his youngest daughter is attending college. (Summer '12)

Candy (Solheim) Birch writes, "After graduating from CHC, I taught elementary students in a Christian school for about 3 years, and received my M.A. in Elementary Education from Granda Canyon University. In 1988, I married my husband, Mike Birch, a high school math and science teacher, whom I had met while he was attending ICR (when it shared a campus with CHC). Mike is now in management at Ping, Inc. (golf club manufacturing), and we are busy with church activities and home schooling our 9 children." (Fall '07)

Christina Tracy writes, "I have recently moved back to Montclair to be closer to my mother, and am proud to say that after battling breast cancer in 2006, I am 2 months from being cancer free for 2 years." (Winter '08)

Lisa (Gilman) Blanchard writes, "During my junior year at CHC (SDCC), a mutual friend introduced me to my husband Greg, while attending the College Sunday School at Scott Memorial (Shadow Mountain). We married in 1989 and recently celebrated 19 years of marriage. Greg works for the City of San Diego in the Equipment Division, and I work for Kaiser Permanente in La Mesa as an Administrative Assistant to a primary care physician, as well as the director of my department. We live in El Cajon and have a wonderful son, Nathan, who is 6 years old and the joy of our lives. I have some wonderful memories of CHC and the life long friendships I made. I still keep in touch with Kim Kelley (Johnson), Denise Jones (Cooper), and my very best friend, Maya Heffernan. I sometimes reminisce while looking through my old year books, and feel blessed for how God used those years at CHC to mold me, grow me, and make me who I am. (Winter '08)

Mary (Boyette) Hickcox writes, "My husband and I are working as Youth Leaders at Calvary Baptist Church in Anaheim, CA. We have full-time jobs...but we also volunteer full-time with the Youth. I finally graduated from University of Phoenix with a B.A. in Business Management in 1995. Serving the Lord is our passion only second to serving the teens in our Youth Group. Please keep me posted on alumni events at SDCC (formerly Christian Heritage College!) (Spring '09)

Cindy (Choate) McHorney lives with her husband, Chris, and children, Cameron (8) and Conor (6).  Cindy writes, "I have lived in southwestern Minnesota for the past 9 years. Chris just accepted a position teaching political science at a university in southern California, so we are excited about moving back. I will be starting a new job as well, teaching in the early childhood special education field. (Summer '06) 

Leta (Leonard) Maclean lives in Spring Valley, CA with her husband, Kim, and two children, Isabel and Ian. She still attends Shadow Mountain Community Church, and is involved with Awanas, the Home Improvement Sunday School Class, and Celebrate Recovery. She manages projects for Earth Tech, an environmental consulting firm in San Diego.

Kristy (Newman) Ownbey writes, "I received my Masters in Social Work and LCSW (License in Clinical Social Work) and worked as a social worker in adoptions, counseling, school and public health. Now I'm raising two children, ages 4 and 5, and enjoying being a parent! I miss my time at SDCC! (Winter '08)

Karen J. (Ross) Robb - ('83-'86)  writes, "Jeff and I are living in beautiful Spokane, WA and going on 20 years of marriage! We have 2 teens (well, one adult 18!) Kellie, and Justen (15). We are very involved with our home church, Grace Harvest Fellowship, where Jeff plays acoustic and electric guitar in our worship arts, and co-leads the band. I serve in our church bookstore and teen ministry. I Hope everyone is doing well! Love to all!"  (Summer '06)

Jill (Tippetts) Sanzone writes. "I will be taking pictures for Qualex at Silver Dollar City, Branson, MO.  I have 1 son(David) who is 20. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me."  (Winter '10)

Laurie (Brandt) Twibell (photo) writes, "Our big event of the year was moving to Georgia in October after being in Alabama for almost 12 years. My husband, Mark, is a project engineer at Gulfstream Aerospace, premier manufacturer of luxury business jets. I stay busy with homeschooling David (8th grade) and Katie (6th grade) and home keeping. Robert - Robert is a Sales Rep. for Dunn-Edwards Paint Corp, a company for which he has worked for twenty-one years. He is the Crown Financial Ministries Church Coordinator/Counselor for Southeast Valley Baptist Church in Gilbert, Arizona. His wife Tia (CHC graduate '87) homeschools their three children Kasha(18 years)(graduated from homeschool in '06) Robert (16 years) and Barrett (13 years).  (Summer '07)
