Position Summary:
As part of this overarching mission, we are looking for a driven Part-Time Athletic Trainer who will represent San Diego Christian College in a Christ-like and professional manner at all times while furthering the growth of the student-athlete and Athletic Department. The Part-Time Athletic Trainer is expected to assist with leadership necessary to achieve a successful athletic program, assist with compliance to all governing authorities, and coordinate a strong and positive presence at the local, regional, and national levels.
The Part-Time Athletic Trainer works under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer and is co-responsible for the health and welfare of all student-athletes competing in college athletics.
Candidate’s Qualifications:
- Preferably possesses a college degree in Sports Medicine or Kinesiology.
- Certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
- Possesses certification of First-Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross.
- Possesses demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Possesses excellent relationship and communication skills.
- Possesses strong organization skills.
