Student Life

Prayer in the Nest: Wednesday, February 22nd at 6:30pm in the Nest. We will be praying for the future site of SDCC as our leadership meets with Santee City Council. Our group will receive live updates from the meeting allowing us to pray as opportunities unfold. Faculty and staff are encouraged to join us!

WASC Corner

Focus This Week: The WASC Visit
What will happen during the February 28-March 2 on-site special visit?

1. The WASC team members will arrive on campus and will first visit with members of the senior administration team. They will also get a quick tour of the campus so that they will know where to find people when they are ready to do interviews
2. They will have various meetings with students, staff and faculty members. You may be stopped and asked questions from the consultant/evaluators or you may be asked to be a part of a scheduled group - Be Helpful, Be Honest, Be Proud, and Don't Be Afraid!
3. On their final day they will tie up any loose ends in an "exit interview" with the administration. The campus community will be informed as soon as the recommendation and the preliminary report of a visit are given.

Cal Grant Application Deadline: Remember the Cal Grant application deadline is March 2nd! Please check your Financial Aid Renewal email for more information regarding applying for this grant. The email was sent to your SDCC email account

Music Events

Junior Recital feat. Mike Alvarez: Thursday, February 23rd at 7:30pm in the Lower Campus Chapel. All musical compositions arranged by Mike Alvarez. Free admission; all are welcome!

Academic Events

Business Department BBQ: The Business Department is hosting a barbecue after the baseball game on Saturday, February 25th! We will be adjacent to the baseball field and plan to start at 3:00pm. All business majors and business alumni are welcome! The Baseball Team have been made honorary business majors for the day.

Library Hours: Monday, February 20th - 9:00am-5:30pm
