Focus Leadership Institute Informational Session - If you have a heart for the Kingdom of God and desire to serve Him, come and meet Ivette Diaz and learn more about the
Focus Leadership Institute on Thursday, February 16th from 2-4pm in Room A. Ivette Diaz is the recruiter & new programs coordinator at Focus Leadership Institute and graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a B.A. in Communication Studies in 2002. Prior to joining the team at Focus Leadership, she served vulnerable populations in the nonprofit sector as well as in public policy. She has worked in public relations and program development for the Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles and served as a political appointee of President George W. Bush at the White House in the bi-partisan Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. In her role at the White House, Ivette had the privilege of hiring and managing the interns in her office. She soon discovered a passion for mentoring college students as they purposed to change the world through their unique passions and talents. She is an alumnus of the Focus Leadership Institute and is excited to continue coming alongside students as they refine their callings and thrive in their leadership capacities. For more information about the Focus Leadership Institute, visit their
website or contact Professor Nalani Hilderman.
