Azusa, Calif. --The San Diego Christian College women’s soccer team traveled
to Azusa Pacific University on Saturday to battle the #2 Cougars in their final
road test of the season. After a tight first half, APU scored four goals in the
second to take the game 5-0.
If the first half, APU fired off eight shots and scored only
one goal against a stingy Hawk defense. Goalkeeper Katelyn Ogle collected three
first half saves to keep the game at 1-0 going into half.
The second half was not kind to the Lady Hawks, as APU got
off 13 shots and scored four goals to put the game away.
Ogle played all 90 minutes for SDCC and collected six saves
total.
SDCC heads home for a matchup with Vanguard on Tuesday,
October 25th at 1:00pm.
