Don't Forget to Change Your Password! - In anticipation of the transition to Google Apps/Gmail from Outlook, IT has requested that everyone change their network password. Please click on this link http://sdcc.edu/MySDCC.aspx and choose "Change My Password" under SDCC Online. Please change your password by Friday, October 21st. The transition to Google Apps/Gmail will take place October 28th.
Enrollment Services
Spring 2012 Class Registration - All students are required to finalize their Spring registration during their assigned registration week by meeting with their academic advisor to review and make changes. Class registration materials can be picked up in the Enrollment Services Office during your assigned week.
- Juniors/Seniors Wed Oct. 26 – Wed Nov. 2
- Sophomores Tues Nov. 1 – Wed Nov. 9
- Freshmen Tues Nov. 8 – Wed Nov. 16
Important Note: All processes with Financial Aid and Student Accounts must be completed in order to start class registration, including completing missing financial aid documents, finalizing alternative/PLUS loans, completing online financial check-in and submitting all past due payments. Contact the Enrollment Services Office to see if you are clear to start class registration.
Academics
Honor's Forum - All of academe, indeed all knowledge claims, beg the questions “how do we come to know?” and “what is it possible to know?” and “what are the different ways that we can know?” and “if we can know, how can we best represent truth?” Dr. Lisa Gates will deal with these and other questions about knowledge construction and how meaning is enacted and represented through ethnographic research and narrative knowledge. Join Dr. Gates, Chair of the SDCC Department of Communication, in the upcoming Honors Forum Monday, October 17th at 3:30pm in Admin Room C. All are welcome!
Rebuilding the Foundation Conference - Join Drs. Randy Gulizza and Nathaniel Jenson of the Institute for Creation Research for a FREE all-day apologetics seminar on Saturday, October 29th from 8:00am-5:45pm at The Rock Church. Alumni Basketball Games - Come cheer on SDCC alum at the alumni basketball games on Saturday, October 22nd in the RAC. Women will tip off at 12pm, followed by the men at 2pm.
