El Cajon, Calif. -- After a strong first half, the Hawks watched No. 8 Azusa Pacific University run off on Saturday afternoon with a 81-65 win. APU extended their win streak to five, boasting a 16-4 overall record and a conference record of 8-2. SDC (6-12, 1-9 GSAC) is left still trying for their second GSAC win of 2011.

SDC's 32.3% shooting in the second gave them an overal 38.7% shooting from the field. Three Hawks hit three's, but it just wasn't SDC's normal 37% three-point shooting on Saturday.
