Lexington, KY -- Lauren Howard (pictured left) was named to the 2010 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American team for NCCAA Division I volleyball on Wednesday.

This year's team is comprised of 14 student-athletes: seven seniors, five juniors, one redshirt-sophomore and one freshman. Of the honorees there are five outside hitters, four middle blockers, three setters, one setter/hitter and one libero.

Howard finished her junior season with the Hawks a top the kill charts with 268 (3.05 k/s), 131 digs (4th on the team) and 23 aces in 88 sets.
