Irvine, Calif. -- The San Diego Christian College Lady Hawks (3-4, 0-2 GSAC), suffer their third loss in a row, falling 69-55 to Concordia University (4-3, 1-2 GSAC) on Tuesday.

The steam behind the Hawks slowed, allowing CUI make up the difference with the game evening out at 25 going into halftime. Concordia out shot SDC from the floor in the first, hitting 36% of their shots, but SDC cleaned up from behind the three, sinking 5 three's, two from junior Jasmin Thomas who was 2-4 and 2-2 from the line for 6 points in the first. The seesaw continued, with the lead changing three times, each time with a small lead being built. SDC's final lead with 14:05 to go at 40-38, slipped away when Nicole Fu reached the 17th of her 25 points on a three-pointer. From there, CUI would open a 19 point gap (67-48), the largest lead of the game. SDC broke the Eagles 29-8 surge with 3:22 to go, but the CUI lead proved to hold out to the 69-55 win.

Concordia's final percentages had them hitting 27-56 (48.2%), 38 of those points in the pain and 28 points off turnovers despite the Eagles having two more turnovers than the Hawks.
