Fresno, Calif. -- Hawks Cross Country team closed out their 2010 season at Fresno Pacific University's course for the GSAC Championships on Saturday, finishing tenth as a team. The women finished the fastest they have in the school's history of scoring women's teams with a time of 1:49:38, averaging a pace of 21:13.

In 47th place, first for the Hawks was freshman Jackilyn Lowry running a time of 20:11, the third fastest time at GSAC Championships in SDC history. This was her second fastest time of the year, with her 19:25 minute PR coming at the Cal State San Marcos Cougar Classic in mid-October. Senior Hannah Lettau came in 48th with a 20:22, 32 seconds faster than her time on the 5k Fresno course in 2009.

Bringing up the final points for the Hawks was freshman Katarina Medici (53rd) at 21:06, junior Adrienne Graham (57th) at 21:30 and senior Asia Graham (65th) with a time of 22:55. Senior Will Graham finished 28:10. With that time, Graham registers his time amongst the fastest 8k times in San Diego Christian College Cross Country history behind Matt Muser's 27:59. He improved 1 minute and 23 seconds since the first time he ran the course in 2007.

No. 2 Biola University took the women's race with a total time of 1:30:51, placing three in the top ten and all seven runners in the top twenty. Azusa Pacific University's Poppy Lawman, a sophomore, crossed first with time of 17:31.

The 13th ranked The Master's College captured the first place team finish for the men, finishing three runners in the top ten. Azusa Pacific's Abednego Magut rank the 8k course in 24:11, 21 seconds quicker than second place finisher John Gilbertson (TMC).
