Cruz and Waggoner, All-GSAC Team

El Cajon, Calif. -- Two Hawks, Cesar Cruz (pictured left) and Hannah Waggoner (pictured below) were named to the the All-GSAC soccer teams that were released on Monday. Each team, men's soccer and women's soccer, consist of thirty selections from the eleven Golden State Athletic Conference competitors.

Cruz, a freshman out of Carlsbad, California finished out the season with 2 goals in 15 games owning the lone game winning goal for the Hawks. Waggoner, a junior from San Diego, California led the women's team with 7 goals, totaling 14 points.
For the men, Vanguard University (10-7, 9-1 GSAC) was the GSAC champion with sophomore Kevin Cornwall (Dublin, Ireland) receiving the GSAC Player of the Year award. Randy Dodge, Vanguard's head coach was awarded GSAC Coach of the Year.

The Master's College's swept the GSAC Awards with Curtis Lewis as Coach of the Year and Emily Bruton as Player of the Year. Azusa Pacific University (13-1-2, 8-1-1 GSAC) was the GSAC regular season champion for the women.
