Fullerton, Calif. -- The Hawks ended their 2010 season at Hope International University on Saturday, falling 4-1 to the Royals (6-8-3, 1-6-3 GSAC). SDC finishes the season with a 4-11-3 overall record and eleventh in the Golden State Athletic Conference with a record of 0-8-2.

Down 2-0 into the second half, the Hawks looked to put a goal on the board. In the 56th minute, a pass in the box from Christy James to Hannah Waggoner allowed them to do just that. But to the Hawks demise, the Royals would hold them scoreless for the remainder and tack on two more goals themselves by games end.

Waggoner rounded out her junior season leading the Hawks with 7 goals (14 pts). Junior Nicole Quintanilla came in second with four goals, 2 assists (10 pts) with two of her goals on the books as game winners.

Senior Sarah Le ended her college career with the Hawks having played in 36 games totaling 2 goals, 4 assists and 8 points. Senior Clare Wohlfeil wrapped up her time at SDC with 4 goals, 3 assists and 11 pts in 36 games and Bianca Silva, also a senior, had 2 goals and 1 assist (5 pts) in 35 games.

Last but not least, senior Goalkeeper Emily Garbez closed out her four years with the Hawks, having played in 51 games. She recorded 237 saves and allowed 77 goals in her 3,351 minutes in goal.
