Finals Week Activities

 

 

Late Night Breakfast – Monday, May 3rd @ 9:00pm in the Courtyard

Your staff and faculty will be serving  and look forward spending some down time with YOU!

It’s all about community, BBQ French toast, pancakes, sausage and more.

See you there.

Commuter Breakfast in the Main Hallway – Wednesday, May 5th from 8:00 to 10:00am

Come by and grab some free fuel on your way to finals. It’s a way Student Life can remove a little stress  and remind you that you are loved during a crazy time.

Menu will include fruit, yogurt, bagels, donuts, juice and coffee.


 

Senior Project Presentations

The Department of Communication proudly presents our Senior Project Presentations on Monday, May 3rd, 4-6:30pm in the LCC. Presenters include: Teagan Wellnitz, Danitza Ramirez, Jazzy Moore, Kinsley Brittain, Tennile Rust, Nick Godwin, Nicole Heck, Ani Breslin, Reanna McHugh, Heather DePriest, Larissa Russo, and Colby Trim.

Complete Financial Check-In before you leave campus on May 7th and your late check-in fee will be waived.

Complete the Departure Process by May 7th.

Required for all graduates and withdrawing students.

Graduating?  Complete Departure Form.

Withdrawing?  Complete Departure Form and Exit Interview.

Graduates with student loans are required to complete Loan Exit Counseling  by May 7th.  Check your SDCC email for an email from Enrollment Services regarding your detailed loan history.

Final Exams Policies & Procedures

Early Exams: Approval to take exams before the originally scheduled time will be given only in the case of a DIRE EMERGENCY.  (Must be approved by the Registrar or Academic Dean).

Exam Clearance: Students will be not be cleared to take final exams until all financial obligations have been met.  Students will receive notification from the appropriate office (Enrollment Services, Student Development, Library, Bookstore) if they are NOT cleared to take exams.  Immediate response is required.  Professors will receive a list of students who are not cleared on the first day of final exams.  Final exams may not be made up.

Night Exams:

Classes which meet at night will have their final exam administered during finals week on the evening and at the same time the class normally meets.
