Following by a strikeout, Pascual then singled off the third baseman’s glove to load the bases. Garrison McLagan drew a walk to tie the game, and Dawson Jones delivered a two RBI single to drive in Castellanos and Pascual. Alex Mann finished off the SDCC scoring with an RBI single to plate McLagan and give the Hawks a 9-6 lead.
Luis Rivas (1-0), who came into pitch with two outs in the eighth, finished off the Warriors in the top of the ninth to earn his first win of the season.
Pascual led the Hawks, going 3-4 with three runs and one RBI. Mann was 2-4 with a pair of RBIs. Pascual, Martinez, and Lusardi each had solo homeruns for SDCC.
Robles threw well, going 6.2 innings, allowing only three hits, giving up one run (none earned), and striking out three.
