Speak Up Benefit Concert for the Enslaved |

Speak Up: Human Trafficking Awareness Night - A benefit concert for those who are exploited in our own backyard. Featuring Evan Wickham, Amy Mathews & Friends, Tacky Little Hatshop, Sorrow Underfoot, and poetry by Peter Jensen. Thursday, March 31st at 6:30pm in the LCC. $5 at the door.
ACT Today for Autism Race - On Saturday, April 2nd, 12 SDCC students will be running in the ACT for Autism 5K and 10K races at Mission Bay. Come support our students! Races begin at 7:30am. Contact Brad Pulcipher if you would like more information or to find out how to donate money to support the cause.
Missions to Tecate Bible Institute - Saturday, April 2nd at 6:15am. You need a passport, SDCC short application, and a few dollars for tacos. Sign up by Wednesday, March 30th. Email Steve Jenkins or Whitney Canty for more information.
Enrollment Services
Financial Aid Awarding and Completion - Be sure to check your school email for information related to Financial Aid awarding and missing documents. Financial Aid cannot be awarded until your FAFSA has been completed and all necessary documents have been submitted to the Enrollment Services office. Some Financial Aid is awarded on a first come, first serve basis and will be awarded in the order they were received. If you have questions about your missing documents, contact the Enrollment Services office.
Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 Registration
Final Clearance for Spring 2011 - All remaining Spring 2011 student account balances must be paid off prior to distribution of registration materials. Login to Empower Web to view your Billing Detail Summary to make sure you do not have an account balance for Spring 2011.

Make Appointment with Academic Advisor - An appointment sign-up sheet should be posted on the door of your academic advisor's office. Appointments must take place during your assigned registration week.
Review Master Schedule - You received a copy of your major-specific master schedule during your first semester at SDCC or when your major was most recently declared. You should update your master schedule when you received your grade report for each semester or add or drop classes. Contact your academic advisor or the Enrollment Services office if you would like to obtain another copy of your master schedule.
Plan - Select courses according to the master schedule for your major and class year. The course schedule may be viewed online through Empower Web. Prerequisites for classes you are interested in taking are listed in the SDCC General Catalog available on the SDCC website. Note: GE math and English requirements must be completed by the end of your sophomore year.
Meet with Academic Advisor - Make sure to bring your registration materials and master schedule to your appointment. Discuss your plans with your academic advisor. Decide on registration and complete registration forms. Obtain advisor's signature on forms. Submit completed forms to the Enrollment Services office by your Registration Deadline.

Honors Forum TODAY! - We’re excited about our final Honors Forum meeting of the semester. We will be hearing from former SDCC instructor Lisa Ledri-Aguilar, and her topic is “Why C.S. Lewis’s Understandings of Applications of Moral Law Can Help Us Make Cultural Transformations.” As you can see, this is this is a topic appeals to members of the SDCC community in more ways than one, and we hope it will appeal to you. So if at all possible please plan to join us this coming Monday, March 28 at 3:30 in Room 8. Refreshments will be served, and everyone is welcome to come. And if you do, Prof. Ledri-Aguilar requests that you BRING YOUR BIBLE!
Attention Graduating Seniors - Stay a year - get a credential! Got questions? Come to the Teacher Credential Program INFO Meeting on Wednesday, March 30 at 5:00-6:00pm in Room 7. Grads and undergrads welcome to attend. No RSVP needed.
