No more RefWorks

 Permanent link

By the end of February, the library will no longer have access to RefWorks.

Having reviewed many of the citation products out there, College Librarians suggest MyBibPro.

MyBibPro cites sources according to the latest citation guidelines for APA, MLA and Turabian.  MyBibPro offers footnote and parenthetical citation formatting, which can easily be copied and pasted directly into a research paper.  If you frequently use electronic databases like EBSCO, you can export your journal citations into MyBibPro list easily.  OR If you're citing a book, use the ISBN Autocite feature. Just type in the ISBN and MyBibPro will pull the book's bibliographical data to instantly create a citation.  If you have access to the Internet, you can access MyBibPro. There's no download and nothing to install.

After February 3, 2009, cost per year is $8.99.

The 411 on the New Library Phone Number

(Library Updates) Permanent link

The College Library has been given a direct phone number.  You don't have to go through the switchboard to call our circulation/reference desk.  This is especially helpful after 5pm or on weekends when there isn't a receptionist and you would have had to use the dial-by-extension, or worse, the dial-by-name option.

Our new number is 619-201-8747.
